50+ AI Sticker Prompts That Actually Work

April 20, 2026·7 min read

The gap between a sticker that looks great and one that comes out flat usually comes down to the prompt. Not how long it is — but how specific. This is a collection of prompts across categories that produce consistently good clay-style stickers, plus a breakdown of what makes them work so you can write your own.

What makes a sticker prompt work

Clay-style sticker generation responds best to three things:

  • A specific subject: "a frog" is vague. "a chubby clay frog sitting on a mushroom" gives the model something to work with. Describe the pose, size cues, and any key props.
  • An emotional expression: Stickers are emotional shorthand. The best ones communicate a feeling instantly — so include the facial expression. "huge smile," "one eyebrow raised," "sparkling eyes," "barely awake."
  • One clear character: Stickers with a single subject read better in small sizes. Avoid scenes, backgrounds, or multiple characters in the same frame.

You don't need to specify "clay style" when using StickerForge — that's already the default. Just describe your character.
